Brother Johnson, this is Brother Averett from the Welling Ward, Kaysville, UT Stake. I have a question. I have two teachers who are not going to be in town for the first two games this Thursday and Friday. If the Teachers team loses and is eliminated, can one of the Teachers who never played then be eligible to play for the Priests? Thanks.
I hope this doesn't come across as sour grapes, but did you guys check the birthdates of the Crestwood combined Teachers team? They have some very large and older looking boys. Can they play as teachers if they are Priests age but have not been ordained a Priest?
Rand, yes all the players on the Crestwood teachers team are eligible to play in the teacher's tournament pursuant to the rules as outlined on this blog and the roster review and signed certification of the bishops, stake president, and the CC. Nobody on the team is older than 15. Nobody is a junior in HS :) Hope this helps.

DeleteThe reason I ask is that one of our players sisters knows one of the boys we played tonight and she says he is a junior in her high school.
